Episode 6 - Student of the Game w/Jack Brown

Sitting down with with comedians from across the globe to find out why they are pursuing stand-up comedy and what they are learning about themselves at this stage in their lives.

Jack Brown is a stand-up comedian from the Chicago area. He is a 54-year-old married father of two who has been doing comedy for just over two years. Originally from Pawtucket Rhode Island, Jack was always the funny kid in class and was voted wittiest in his high school superlatives.

He holds a communications degree from the University of Rhode Island and spent his career in media advertising sales. He started in New York City and has worked for Turner Broadcasting, NBC Universal, Fox and the Big Ten.

Jack’s work in media ad sales provided him with a great deal of public speaking opportunities in different formats, which is where the stand-up idea began. He has been a fan of stand-up comedy since he was a kid.
